Gepsie letter

Dear Guests,

On behalf of the Sant La team, I thank you for visiting our website. As you browse our pages, you will agree that Sant La has come a long way since our founding in 2000. In 2015  we celebrated a landmark anniversary, our 15th year of  service to the community. We marked the occasion with many accomplishments, such as the publication of the Red and Blue Book of Philanthropy, a celebration of those who invest their treasure in initiatives that benefit Haitians. A Philanthropy Campaign, launched in 2014,  which aims to promote the transformational  impact of giving in our community.  In 2015, We published Progress and Unmet Challenges: Sant La's Profile of the Haitian Community of Miami-Dade,  an updated assessment of key socio-economic indicators in the Haitian community, which will inform our work in the coming years.  Perhaps our biggest accomplishment in our 15th year was the launch of Sant La Fellows, a year-long fellowship to prepare the next generation of civic, political, academic, and business  leaders in the Haitian community.

In 2017 we relocated to North Miami, in the heart of the population we have specialized in serving.  In the year 2020, we  will continue to be driven by the fierce urgency of our community's issues to build on our past accomplishments. Throughout our endeavors, we will rely on your support, your comments and  your suggestions. Remember, we are able to give our everything to the community, because you give your everything to us. On behalf of the Sant La family, again, I thank you!

With Warm Regards,

 Gepsie M. Metellus
